The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) invites its Member States, industry players, sponsors and exhibitors to the Global Air Navigation Industry Symposium* to be held in Montréal from 20 to
23 September 2011.

Be part of a unique event that will bring together the aviation industry, air navigation service providers and States. The Symposium will provide a platform for global and regional industry partners to share their latest developments, thus identifying commonalities/differences between the systems to ensure interoperability and facilitate the harmonization of air navigation systems.

The opportunity to discuss emerging issues and to chart out the next steps to achieve a seamless global air navigation system will be the primary objectives of this global event. It will be particularly relevant to the Aviation System Block Upgrades and the Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Roadmaps leading up to the Twelfth Air Navigation Conference, which will take place in 2012.

Symposium Topics:

  • Aviation System Block Upgrades
  • Air/Ground and Ground/Ground Communications
  •  Enroute and Terminal Navigation Systems
